So the decision was made to deliver by land, and experienced trucking contractor Jim Goldenrod (Laurence Fishburne) orchestrated a rescue operation. He hires trucker Mike McCann (Liam Neeson) for the dangerous trek across the icy slopes of Canada, who has just been fired for a fight over the insult of his brother Gurti (Marcus Thomas), an Iraqi war veteran who caused PTSD.
