based on the novel by Elizabeth Brandage. Things Heard & Seen , advertised as a horror movie, deceives from the start using its supernatural elements. and constantly playing with the expectations of fans of the genre who expect the occasional mild shock. However, we soon realize that the horrors that the film wants to use are not intangible, but tangible and everyday. Thus, problems such as bulimia, marital crisis, infidelity and loneliness are the real horrors our heroes face. With these questions ... was the supernatural factor really necessary?

Amanda Seyfried (Mank) brilliantly plays this lonely and traumatized wife who gave up everything to satisfy her husband's desires. For his part, Briton James Norton (Nevers), who is well aware of his charm, quite easily manages to make his character hesitate between pleasant and terrible. We also have the adorable F. Murray Abraham (Lady and the Tramp), who fills our heads with ideas about death, the supernatural and its relationship to certain works of art, but all these elements seem unnecessary .. Finally, we find always desirable and grossly underrated in Hollywood Ray Seehorn (Better call Saul) and Natalia Dyer (Velhat Buzzzo), whose character exists only to make the development of a particular person more apparent, if possible.

Things Heard & Seen  is a film that offers the opposite of what it promises. It begins as a modern horror movie, quickly becomes a popular marriage drama, which ends with a lazy psychological thriller with an ambiguous ending. This mixture of genres with a common core and an even more predictable development tries to hide behind the good visual work of a couple of filmmakers and a bewildered as well as excellent cast. However, their problems are too obvious to hide. Also, use supernatural horror as a statement in this movie. it is more of a marketing strategy than an important resource. After all, there is almost nothing relevant, surprising, or interesting about it.
